The parking is free 24/7, which seems to good to be true. Take the stairs down to the city center. There is a restaurant at the parking where you can enjoy the amazone view.

Fantastic views but a very hard climb. The second time we used the funicular railway and walked back down to the river. Well worth the effort to visit although limited oppurtunities for refreshments.

Great place and views. You need to be in good shape if taking the steps up. Take your time and stop going up so you can enjoy the different city views.

after a short, but rather tiring in 35 degrees, uphill walk we found ourselves able to look over the old city of Verona - well worth the effort it was too!

You will see this great city from above. Don`t miss to have a coffee or drink at the restaurant. It is worth it.

The walk up whilst steep is rewarded with magnificent views of Verona. I think the funicular only operates in summer months so check. We went up after dark to see verona by night. Recommended

We took a taxi, which wasn't expensive and took us right to the top. The view of Verona and the surrounding countryside is spectacular. Be sure to stop at the cafe, which has good coffee and drinks, and seemed like it would be a wonderful...More

Can take the funincular up and walk down. Visit the restaurant/ bar there for a drink overlooking this lovely city. Poor service but is still worth it just for the location.

It is 300 metres and about 7 minutes to walk. I didn't count the steps though :-)
