This small market is worth visiting. Although it was a national holiday, it was open. And it was not fully operating but it was still an adventure with its fish and fruit and vegetable stands.

The small indoor market is located just outside the old town walls of Alghero and it is worth popping in for a look around. They sell local produce - fruit and vegetable stalls and fresh fish stalls. There are also a couple of shops on...More

Local market stocking a variety of seasonal fruit and vegetables and fish. Inside of the market there are 'stalls' selling meat and cheese ( we did not buy any). We were staying in an apartment locally and visited the market three times for fresh fruit...More

Good market offering good range of food and the keenest prices. Test your bargaining skills and don't be afraid to try the products before you buy. Parking quite difficult as the area is very busy.

Worth a visit. Be sure to visit the back of the fruit market since they got some nice and interesting smaller shops for homemade stuff there.

We always try to shop in the local markets, but we were maybe not there early enough to catch the best of this one, despite being there before 9. Surprisingly quiet - almost deserted - and not great value.

This being Italy, the supermarkets also stock excellent fresh produce. However, the market experience is always worthwhile, and if you are after seasonal goodies rather than staples, you will find fantastic local fruit and veggies here at the market, bursting with taste. The same goes...More

There are numerous stalls of the most seasonal local fruits, vegetables and salads. The ability to purchase daily for us self catering was brilliant. The stoned fruit season in full swing.. Apricots peaches nectarines of various sorts with berries n figs. Some local wines home...More

A foodie's paradise. We've been a couple of times already during our stay to stock up. The fruit and veg building has about 10 stalls. All bursting with colour and fragrance. Produce is largely the same stall to stall BUT if you look a little...More

Yes it's open every day but be careful, because sometimes the prices of the products will be more expensive for tourists. More than if tourists don't call or understand very well italian !!
