We opted to take the beach bus rather than the boat from Alghero. The journey took around an hour and a half due to the beach stops en route. The view from the top of Capo Caccia is beautiful. We arrived around 11.15 and queued...More

Nice bar but limited food and quite pricey at top. Lovely drive up and breathtaking views. Lovely Sardinia n man with a stall selling beautiful sardinian people magnets all made and painted by hand and Xmas decorations. Toilets are one euro and queues for caves...More

One of the main places to visit from Alghero- the Neptune Caves. Not far to travel on the boat either for a quick trip, but you can also book a day trip with lunch included and swim off the boat too.

The views, as everyone says, are magnificent. We went by car and wanted to be on time for the first tour of the grotto which is scheduled for 9am. We got almost the last ‘official’ car park, and missed the big crowds - however things...More

Always worth the visit, even though it can be crowded. I have been there several times and never get enough. Can be Cold in the off-Season on a Cold day though.

We travelled to cappo caccia by bus. Fabulous views. Good cafe reasonably priced. Dissappointed could not get to lighthouse.

We saw the Grotto from the sea while looking for dolphins, and it was magnificent. The rocks around have been eroded into forms which look, in many cases, as if they have been deliberately sculpted.

I can’t believe there aren’t barriers on these cliffs so take care. They are amazing. Also near some nice bays for swimming and grottos at sea level.

Absolutely fantastic place to visit. High cliffs and deep blue color of the sea make this place magical. Beautiful views from every side.

Well worth a visit but don't be put off by the 600+ steps as most of them are not very steep and there are lots of landings to stop at and admire the views.

When we went to the cliffs by car we did not want to walk down the 656 to the caves so visited the caves later by boat. I am definitely sure you would not get stranded if you went to the caves by boat. Hope this answers... More
