Lovely beach & area, great for a morning swim and as it's 8km long there's plenty of room for everyone.

Poetto Beach is close to Cagliari (which is accessible easily by bus) and it provides a lovely sandy beach and a quiet coast with a number of restaurants and bars.

Good beach, quiet, not too many people in September. Avoid eating there, food is terrible from what I tried. Had a great time though!

By bus from via Roma. Buy a ticket from tabacchi (book of 12) is good value if you want to get bus anywhere else think was €12 or just buy two for return journey remember to stamp your ticket when you get on the bus
