Utterly stunning church - highly recommend a visit!
Highly recommend a visit, this church is so stunning and from so many different angles. Take your time and enjoy wandering around and sitting and taking it all in. A short walk from the Ballaro Market too. Can’t recommend highly enough.

    Amazing church
The most beautiful church in Palermo, maybe anywhere. An amazing assembly of marble and semi-precious stone installed over several hundred years. It's only a short walk from major streets but very worth your time.

    Very beautiful!
Amazing church, 100% worth a visit. Very unusual and beautiful decorations, takes your breath away. Only 2 euro per ticket / or 6 euro including a small but lovely museum. A must visit in Palermo!

The most beautiful baroque church in Palermo!
Pictures do not do this church justice. This is the most beautiful baroque church in Palermo. Purchase a ticket to see ALL areas available. You will be happy you did. It is a stunning church. You could stare at the altar, walls, and chapels for hours. There is a huge wood paneled room behind the alter that holds the priest's liturgical vestments, which is a work of art. There are other rooms too you can visit that display church items and conservation work. The staff is very helpful and love to answer questions.

Maybe the best church in Palermo. What a great efforts and skills by artists and painters to make this church so beautiful. Awesome ornamentations and paintings.

Chiesa Del Gesu was a surprisingly gorgeous baroque church which was bombed during the Second World War and restored over several subsequent years. The result of the restoration and continued preservation was quite stunning and more than worth our visit.

Absolutely amazing decorations and marble work in this little church off the main roads.
It is free to visit the main church, but for €5 you can access the side chapels plus a museum with beautifully embroidered Bishops robes etc.
Well worth a visit.

Definitely worth the half day excursion from Palermo. Being able to actually touch the carved sculptures was completely unexpected. They become alive when you can be SO near.
