We were taken here by some relatives and this church is totally different and amazing. Worth the drive up there also beautiful views of Palermo along the way.

i was not expecting much after visiting countless churches. i was in awe when i enter this church. It was built inside the mountain. the rock formation was spectacular. its a long climb up the stairs to reach the cathedral.

It is the occasione to overlook Palermo from monte pellegrino and the see from the other side .on the day crossing villa Igea .One of most famous hotel in Palermo .

Everyone should visit the Santuario Santa Rosalia at least once. Free admission. Just find parking on the street.
