A friend and I spent a day in March on this tour with our guide, Francesca, and a family of five from Nebraska. Our guide was terrific - a great driver, so knowledgable about wine and about the Chianti region, warm and friendly. The first stop was at a small family owned winery where we were served six (I think)... More

We had a great tour, just the 4 of us. Our guide was great, new a great deal about the region and taught us a lot about Chianti. We saw 3 vineyards and had a wonderful home cooked lunch at the home of the vineyard owner, complete with homemade jams from fruit from her garden. Definitely a great tour.

We booked this tour as part of our trip to Florence and had a wonderful day. Our guide, Francesca was such a lovely host for the day and taught us much about the wines and the region. The vineyards we visited were welcoming and informative and the samples were so nice! The lunch stop with Sam at Altiera was superb... More

My daughter and I had a wonderful time and we both highly recommend this tour. Angie is a wonderful guide. She is friendly, fun and very knowledgeable. We learned about the history of Chianti as well as proper wine tasting techniques! We visited several organic wineries. The scenery/ views are spectacular. Each owner gave us a tour and we tasted... This was one of the highlights of our road trip around Italy! Our tour guide got to know us and we got to know her. By the end it felt like you were driving around drinking wine and eating with friends. The lunch was incredible!! The wine is delicious! The scenery was just perfect.

We really enjoyed this day - the wine was excellent and sufficiently varied within one region to maintain interest, but the main highlight was the choice of vintners, which was wonderful. They were knowledgeable, personable and amusing, all spoke excellent English and were able to answer any and all questions we asked. The guide also knew huge amounts about the... More

The Tuscan Wine Tour was the favorite part of our 3 week European vacation. Our tour guide was Tim and he was very knowledgeable, extremely informative, as well as friendly and fun. He picked us up in a mini-van, and there were only 2 other people in our group so it was very intimate. The vineyards we visited were great,... More

Francesca our tour guide was great. She was a sommelier and you could tell she enjoyed teaching us about the region and how the wines are made and classified. She was very pleasant and friendly. We went to three wineries but never felt rushed. We had a very nice lunch at the second winery,Altiero, with the owner who treated us... More
