This was our third Walks of Italy tour during our trip. All the guides were great, but Angelo was something special. The way he could change your way of thinking about pieces of art was touching. He is so passionate about his work and it really shows. This tour is superb and perfect for those that are time crunched. Do... More

We did the all day tour with Costanza seeing the Duomo, Accademia and the Uffizi Gallery. This was a wonderful tour. Costanza was very nice, informative and professional--full of facts. I don't know how she could remember them all! The tour ends in the Uffizi gallery where you could continue to look around on your own. We have done several... More

Paulo was a terrific tour guide who made our tour both interesting and fun. He had a wealth of knowledge and a passion for his city that he graciously shared with us. This was one of our favorite things we did in Italy.

The tour was a great way to get a glimpse of Florence in a day. Our tour guide Angelo was so animated and passionate about what he was talking about. He seemed very knowledgeable about all of the art he talked about – he sounded like a passionate Art History professor, it was great!

We loved the "Walks of Italy" tour in Florence. Our guide emersed us in the history of Florence as we walked. Our group of 12 started in San Marco's Square, then walked to Galleria deli' Academia to learned all there is to know about Michaelangelo's "David" and other amazing works of art. Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
