So historic

This is yet another beautiful area in the old part Florence. This whole city just oozes history. This is a beautifully restored building.

This centuries-old building is located in the historical city center of the gorgeous Florence. Its amazingly intricate interiors are full of art and beauty. I visited in January so the main Hall of the Five Hundred was quite cold inside yet it is still easy to appreciate as every centimeter is filled with art. I did not take the tour... More

It's not much of a tourist attraction. It's just another clock tower around the corner . But it's in center so you can get a good sun tan if it's cold out there .

This is one of several major palazzos in Florence and this one is situated centrally. It is a beautiful building and the ground floor ceilings are amazing. It is well worth visiting.

This square holds so much amazing sculptures and history. You definitely need to go with a guide to explain what the sculptures mean to get the full benefit but a must see

It cost us €8 each to enter as we are under 25 (€10 full price) and free bag storage, what I enjoyed about it the most is that there was a very distinctive painting style throughout the rooms that I've not seen elsewhere in Italy so far, the tower closes at 4ish so if you're wanting to do that get... Along with all the other buildings and architecture, this area is well worth your attention. We did not go inside this particular building but the surrounding area has lots to offer.

Palazzo Vecchio is definately one of the most important sightseings in Florence. The architecture of the Palace is very interesting, we were lucky to here and excursion where the guide told us some interesting facts about Florence and the Palace

Amazing historical place, be prepare to look up. The basic entry price compared with the duomo is a bit high.

Staying in Uffizi

Neighbourhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
