Replicas of older sculptures were interesting to compare and see in proximity. Piazza itself wasn't that spectacular but some of the history of the piazza and the surrounding area was neat to see.

This Piazza has many many statues, and the view of the different architecture is stunning. A must-see when in Florence.

We enjoyed strolling in the piazza. We saw the David & the loggia with all the statues to sit and contemplate.Unfortunately the fountain was under restoration so we couldn't see it. There were plenty of other interesting buildings to see in the square.

Amazing , worth a visit when it is not August and not so crowded and hot. Wanted to spend more time looking and studying but crowds and heat were a problem. My advice world be go early or a different time of year.

And also other great works as well. I personally love David in the square much more than in the museum.

It's one of the main attractions in Florence. You must stop and admire the beautiful and very old statues that are present here. It was crowded as it was august, but nevertheless the sculptures are breath taking.

Although some of the statues wher in restauration, there were some beautiful ones to check out. When you go at an early morningtime, you have all te space yu need to take good pictures.

It is where our tour group met and ended. Nice view of the City Hall which had some sort of activity including a parade. Near the gallery too. Had a nice gelato at it's far end.

Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time
will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past
times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can
reach the city center, the Florence that everybody
dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can
experience the rare beauty of the capital of the
Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio
and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the

No the snorkelling is rubbish due to the high number of statues, loggias and palace buildings getting in the way. The complete lack of water beyond that of the basin of the Fountain of Neptune would also be a problem for... More
