Santa Maria Novella has a interesting marble facade a most to see. Inside it has many different areas to see with beautiful details. It is located on the piazza of the same name

So lovely from the outside, but I did not go in.* The exterior is worth simply standing and appreciating. *I got tired, frankly, of figuring out lines and tickets and times and prices

Florence has that many beautiful Churches & Basilicas it would take a month of Sundays to do them all justice ! Take the time to look through this one & you won't be disappointed and stroll through the Cloisters & the surrounding Piazza, lovely !

Although the exterior is quite impressive and some people are put off by the 7.50 euro entrance fee, it is definitely worth it when you get inside. There are many elaborate and colourful paintings which are really vibrant in the church itself but continue around...More

Lovely serene church with graceful architecture and incredible history. Just loved it. If possible, read up a bit about its extensive history before going. It is also the scene of the worlds oldest herbal pharmacy and perfumery, still making ancient remedies. Dreamy.

come across the constant hustle and bustle of the
station before exiting, taking a few steps and
stopping amazed in Piazza di Santa Maria Novella. It
is impossible not to admire the the square, housing
one of the most charming basilicas in Florence. The
