A large quiet church not on the tourist radar. The life of St. Francis by Ghirlandaio is special. There is also an early 15th century altarpiece depicting the Trinity by Mariotto di Nardo. Many chapels hold other works of interest.

Another street, another church. So many fantastic churches in Florence - try and see at least a couple before you leave. This one has quite a plain facade, but its well worth a look.

Entering the church is free, the Sassetti Chapel is on the right of the main altar. You can put a coin in the small box on the left wall to turn on the lights.
