Had an absolutely wonderful day with utterly charming Filippo. He picked us up at the ship in Livorno. As we had been in Florence several times before, we were looking for something different. We spent the entire day visiting various Tuscan towns. Lots of very special unexpected surprises. His vehicle was new and we felt safe with him at all times. Since he had worked in the States for several years, his English language skills were excellent. It was one of the best days of our trip. I share this with you so that you can also enjoy Tuscany as much as we did. His contact information... Guidedtours@libero.it Filippo Perferi +39 333 341 8844

12 hr tour and worth the investment. Our guide Sarah is charming, engaging, knowledgeable. She took great care of everyone and worked to assure everyone had opportunities to enjoy. A Good way to cover 3 significant sights. although Aside from the Tower, Pisa is a disappointment.

We were picked up in front of the Library in Florence by Simon, our U.K. transplant tour guide. We traveled East along the Arno river to Petreto Winery - a small family winery that has operated since the 1870's. The fourth generation owner Giovanni was a very congenial host who exuded friendliness and hospitality. I very much enjoyed walking the grounds and picking his brain. He seemed to enjoy talking about his business very much. After the winery, we went up the hills to very good game restaurant and enjoyed the excellent food. Simon braved the Tuscan blizzard of 2018 ☺️ (1/4" of snow) to take us there. We finished the day at the Piazza di Michaelangelo to have a grand view of Florence.

Simon led a fantastic day. Relaxed but informative. Beautiful family vineyard visit. Lovely wines tasted. Lunch at a restaurant in the hills was superb.

Simon is great guide. Believe me because of Simon we can see & understand Tuscan region. This is not routine stereotype tour where u visit any winery & taste wine -olive oil .......& go back to home. Simon took us to beautiful countryside of Tuscan region, at many places we stop car & visit grapes & olive farm. Lastly he took us to small family owned winery .........it's amazing. Thanks to Simon
