This tour was so so good. Our tour guide Angelo was amazing. He knew everything there was to know and was able to answer any and all questions brought up to him even if they were about things not related to the tour exhibitions. It was worth seeing both the Uffizi and the Accademia. There were no lines to skip due to the covid-19 situation as we took this tour a week before things got shut down but I would recommend this tour to anyone coming to florence as it is not only a tour of the two big galleries but also a small city walking tour.

This tour was awful. It only showed the main cathedral hall and u had no access to the bell tower, dome, crypt or museum which wasnt clear when we booked the tour. The guide had no personality what so ever and might as well have been a tape recording. A very disappointing tour and one i would recommend others avoid.

Dear Flyer465280, Thanks for taking the time to leave a review about City Wonders. I am sorry to hear your disappointment regarding the Duomo Express tour. Duomo Express tour provides you a guided visit to the Florence Duomo and the Museo della Misericodia with the special no wait access. I would like to reconfirm you that the option fro you selected doesn't include the visit to the Dome, Bell Tower and Crypts. As I haven't been able to check your reservation, I was not able to see if you booked the tour directly with City Wonders or through a third party. In case of Online booking with City Wonders you should have checked the inclusions before make the booking, in the second case , instead, you can return your complaint to the relative distributor. Sorry again for the inconvenience Thanks for your feedback , this has been forwarded to the relevant department in charge. We hope to see you in the future with City Wonders tours. Kindest Regards Barbara City Wonders Team

Wonderful tour with an amazing tour guide, Angela! This double tour was a great way to see 2 of Florence’s major sights, as well as a walking tour of many other sights, in a short amount of time, but with a lot of wonderful information.

The instructions were clear and took us to the steps of the medical charity where we met a representative of the company who were providing the tour of the Duomo. We were introduced to Monica, or Monique depending on your cultural origins. Monica it turned out is a PhD art history student and what she doesn’t know about the background and significance of the Duomo isn’t worth knowing. She was amazing and very informative and didn’t trot off facts as so many guides do she really knew what she was talking about and you could tell she loved her subject. She answered questions and didn’t skimp on the answers. We learned a lot in a very short space of time and it was fun and enjoyable. Monica took us close up to aspects of the Duomo the public couldn’t. She opened barriers and lead us close to paintings and sculptures cordoned off to the normal visitors. There were a lot of surprises for me about several aspects of the building. For me the visit was fun quick and told you a lot in short space of time so it never got boring and tedious as these often do. Eleven out of ten for me.

Weak tour but you get right in. Make sure to ask for ticket which you can use to enter other areas. We didn’t ask and they didn’t offer.
