I purchased my first bottle of perfume (Derwish) three years ago at AquaFlor. It has become my favorite scent, so I am obliged to return to Florence once a year to replenish my supply! This store continues to expand it's generous space and is such a visual delight. This Renaissance era building is simply gorgeous and the employees are gracious... More

Fascinating insight into artisan perfume making. In this modern age, a real art in this little gem. Not cheap, but really high quality products but worth a browse even if you are not buying.

I came upon AquaFlor when wandering aimlessly around the streets of Florence (in other words, I was pleasantly lost). The aroma wafting out the door and the view of the leather armchairs, timber cabinetry, glass bottles and subdued lighting beyond created an inescapable lure. It was an oasis and one of those special, unexpected, finds on a trip which you... More

This perfumery was the highlight of my trip to Florence! I wanted to set up a private session with the perfumer for a custom fragrance, but did not plan far enough in advance. However, the staff helped me select two fragrances that are just wonderful! I wear both of them regularly and have been stopped so many times by strangers... More

This beautiful little perfumery in an old Palazzo is what I'm calling a forever memory because of the amazing personal tour my friend and I received with the owners Seleno, learning about his philosophy on making perfume and even a little bit of the history of perfume. The store is filled with an amazing selection perfumes, body lotions, soaps, and... More

We visited Flor several times before deciding on purchasing a couple scents. This is a fantastic find in Florence both for the charming setting and the great service. Kate is wonderful in helping you take the time to experience the scents before rushing to purchase. We found the experience highly personal and unlike many perfume shops, Flor allows you to... More

Flor is a hidden gem in Florence. The staff was wonderful, helped us choose a parfum*, soaps and lotions. Everything is handmade onsite, they even blended the parfum that was out of stock while we shopped. Great service and products are one of a kind. Will be back next time I'm in town.

I love to collect unique souvenirs that capture a place and remind me of it for years to come. What better way to do that then to take home a smell? This perfumerie is the perfect place for that. It's absolutely beautiful, like an old apothecary shop inside a palazzo. Wander through the rooms sniffing perfumes, colognes, soaps and other... More

I first read about Acqua Flor in a magazine article and was very intrigued to find that the products are sold only at the single shop in Florence and not sold online. Since I was planning to visit Santa Croce Church during my stay, I decided to stop by Acqua Flor as it was located on the way to the... More
