This 19th century piazza has undoubtedly the best panoramic view of Florence. The square is decorated with copies of Michelangelo's sculptures, but it's the view people come here to see.

Trust me, the statue is not the best thing Piazzale Michelangelo has. Views from this place are outstanding.

Gorgeous views and a nice walk. Go here during sunset for spectacular photos. Expect a lot of other tourists and people trying to see tourist nick-knacks - but completely worth it.
