This 19th century piazza has undoubtedly the best panoramic view of Florence. The square is decorated with copies of Michelangelo's sculptures, but it's the view people come here to see.

Although it was quite a climb to the top, the views of Florence and the surrounding hills were definitely worth it. There are toilets, drinks, snacks, and souvenirs all at the top. Be sure to walk through the nearby gardens as well (they're free).

Beautiful view and background for pictures! A must do for tourists. Typical tourist kiosks selling same merchandise. Cafe overlooking piazza. Bus stops there as well. You can probably hike it but I wouldn’t suggest !
