Visited Piazza Santa Croce back in December 2016. This is where you can find the beautiful Basilica di Santa Croce. There's also a Christmas market, selling everything from good food to wooden furnitures.

We enjoyed this and the cathedral very much - actually made 2 separate trips there. We enjoyed the little bistros and cafes, along with seeing the cathedral. Don't skip this one.

One of the more quiet piazzas in eastern Florence. There isn't much to do here, but it works well as a meeting spot if you are staying in the area.

This quadrangular square is the most largest place in Florence and is arounded from historical palaces; Also there are a church with the same name; In the middle-age it was a place for public meetings ; in the Renaissance there were contests, and now sometimes a place for historic football of Florence

This is one of the lesser visited Piazzas but worth seeing as really nice shops and restaurants around it and the cathedral is beautiful.

Piazza Santa Croce is one of the main squares in central Florence. There you'll see the statue of Dante Alighieri and the gorgeous Basilica of Santa Croce, where some of the most famous italians are buried, such as Michelangelo, Galileo and Machiavelli
