Couldn't even take a peek at it, it's been under renovation for a while. Still, it's a gorgeous place to visit. There are plenty of other sculptures to gaze upon. This means I will have to return another time when the fountain has been restored...More

Currently being renovated unfortunately but you are surrounded by other beautiful sculptures in the Piazza della Signoria. Still worth a visit to the area.

Unfortunately when we visited the piazza last week, this statue was covered up for restoration. What a shame.

Take the time to go inside the buildings, walk around and sit & enjoy a cup of cappuccino and glass of red wine (or two). The architecture, beauty, history and overall atmosphere of this place is simple breath taking!

You can't really miss it - right next to the Medici palace and next door to a great ice cream place!

I looked upon this statue while eating a steak Florentina ... but when I returned in August, it was shrouded in canvass and scaffolding and under restoration.

The fountain was hidden by scaffolding when we visited--what a disappointment! Not sure how long the renovations will take, but don't expect to see this site anytime soon.
