Neighbourhood: Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.

Had hair and makeup done with Ziziai for my wedding! They did a perfect job, without any trial run. Highly recommend! Lovely people, great experience, fabulous outcome.

Best Pedicure in Florence
Sep 2018 • Couples
Both of us went in for a manicure and pedicure. The manicurist Valeriya was the most knowledgeable and professional manicurist we have ever met. She not only did a great job she instructed us on what to tell other manicurist back home to do based on the structure of our hands and nails. It wasn’t inexpensive but it was well worth every euro spent.

Tucked away in the heart of Florence
Jun 2018 • Couples
My wife popped in here on spec’ and because they weren’t busy was able to get her nail polish removed and redone with no fuss, and at a very reasonable price. We were impressed with the salon, and the staff spoke good English. This is tucked down a side street just around the corner from the Duomo, but you wouldn’t know about it without google.
