Poggio Al Sole is a short drive outside the city of Florence and the hosts Giovanni and Antoinette are wonderfully hospitable. Their B&B is dreamy and I sent a client here back in June of 2018 and she still talks about her stay. The breakfast spread is amazing. The rooms are comfortable, clean and picturesque. The property has a swimming pool and sun chairs. You can easily get back to the city of Florence. My client took the train to Venice with some guests she met at the property and returned by evening. The restaurant nearby gets great reviews. If you want to get out of the city and enjoy the country, go stay at Poggio Al Sole.

Poggio al Sole an agriturismo very close to Florence. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed our stay very much.Accommodation was very comfortable. Great breakfast. Fabulous restaurant just a short walk away.Giovanni and Antonietta are lovely hosts. They made us so welcome. Giovanni took us thru his olive grove, and also showed us how they grow the saffron . Great place to stay. Anne McDowall from New Zealand
