We were in Florence for about a day. We wanted to see Tuscany but the city as well. The bike tour allowed us to see both quickly. The half day bike tour took us on an amazing ride up into Tuscany with beautiful views. The food, wine, and olive oil were great. Our tour guide Andy knew so much and... More

We were only in Florence for three days and my boyfriend and I wanted to take a little bit of time to get out of the city and visit the Tuscan countryside. When we found this tour online, my boyfriend was thrilled. We booked a two-hour tour for the next day with super high expectations and we were not disappointed... More

Absolutely brilliant bike ride from a hilltop church to the historic city centre. There's no better way to appreciate the beauty of Tuscany! Informative guide, decent equipment, and all conducted in the right manner. We stopped off for lunch at a great little Osteria -Chianti and oil straight from the surrounding vineyards and olive groves. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing bike tour of Tuscany with a wine and olive oil tasting at Villa Le Piazzole. Bill, the owner, was a great tour guide. The views were beautiful and the streets we road were just as beautiful. The Villa was lovely and our wine tasting along with bruschetta, meats and cheeses was delicious. This was truly a... More

A fun biking trip to get to know Tuscany and its beautiful country side. We had an excellent taste of Vin Santo from the local vineyard. Bill was a fun guide and he kept us going on the biking trail showing us the sights along the way.

We actually booked the bike tour as we wanted to experience the Tuscan countryside. It was an extra cold day and Bill our guide felt it might a bit much for our two year old, so he suggested taking the Fiat 500 at no extra cost. We absolutely loved it. Taking a Fiat 500 around Italy was always a dream... More

If you're visiting Florence a 'must do' is a Tuscany Bike Tour. It's was great to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city of Florence. Our exceptional guide was Andy who was very passionate about the region and it's produce. We had plenty of stops along the way with great photo opportunities and snippets of history and... More

I had an idea of what to expect for a typical half day bike tour with a vineyard and this was much better than what I expected. The coolest part was how private the vineyard was. I was expecting the usual run of the mill run you in, cookie cutter wine tour. I felt this was more like walking into... More

Staying in Pitti

Neighbourhood Profile
Pitti
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
