Do you know that soccer was born in Florence? Nowadays you can see the soccer origins (dating from the Renaissance) during games of "Calcio storico fiorentino" (a game which is nearer to rugby) between may and june in Piazza Santa Croce...but our Temple of Italian Soccer, the modern game I mean, is here, in Florence, because in the Coverciano section the Italian national soccer team do their soccer camps. In the FGCI seat there is this small jewels, with a lot of things to see and to know if you're interested about soccer.

All football lovers will never forget the visit experienced in this National Italian Football Museum. There are like 3 storeys full of memorabilia of all World cups till the last one of 2014. You get to see a replica of the 1934 World cup and other cups. Certificates from FIFA of achievements won in World cups. There are shoes and footballs and gears since 1934.Amazing there are also gears of Maradona, Baggio and a lot of other world famous footballers. Fee is only Euro 5.

A MUST for all Italian football followers. This museum is all about the Italian National team . There is a fee of 5 euro as entrance and you are in for a grand walk through Italian National team victories including 4 world cups. You also get to see memorabilia donated by world cup players to the museum. It is a very interesting museum for all those who are into football. A shop is also available to buy items about the museum and the Italian national team.
