Should you be on a cruise stop at Livorno Italy, it is easy to do a trip to Pisa, Florence and/or Lucca on your own. All you need is to take the cruise shuttle to town and take the LAM BLU bus to Livorno Central Station. At the station, buy a ticket to either or more of these places but be careful with your timing as you need to get back to the ship on time. You have to budget for eventualities as the Italian train service is not reliable. I was stuck for an hour and a little more on my way back from Lucca when transferring train Pisa to Livorno. Other than that, you will save a bundle venturing out on your own. The cruise shuttle to town cost as much as my train ticket to Lucca, not even comparing this to the cruise tour which is a few hundred percent more.

A group of 6 of us did this as a cruise excursion. Each one of us loved it. Laila born here new half the town. She introduced us to food and people. With pieces of history on the way. We even came across a 90 year old ex opera sing who with coaxing burst into song. Delightful.the food was great and the market vibrant. I would recommend this tour to anyone!

This is one of our favorite tour in Italy! Laila our guide was so charming, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about the food, Livorno , the culture and the people that it made us excited to learn and try everything that she offered us. We felt so special and privileged to have experienced the local food and wine and really sampled a little bit of the real essence of Livorno . Thank you so much Laila! We really enjoyed the tour and the yummy samplings.

We recently docked in Livorno on a cruise ship and hired Walter Occhini Private Driver for a tour of Pisa and Lucca. The drivers were punctual and there to me us with immaculate vehicles. They were pleasant and informative and the tour was exactly what we planned. I can highly recommend this company to you.

Fabrizio arranged a morning of most interesting sightseeing for us in Livorno. The boat tours of the canals was a highlight - the children loved the wide tunnel beneath the market square and we saw much of the beautiful Venetian quarter. So many people pass through Livorno without appreciating it's fascinating past - Fabrizio brings it to life with marvellous stories. We also enjoyed visits to two lovely churches and found out about history relating to their art. A great way to spend a few hours in Livorno.
