Some Lucca churches charge admission - this one does not and is well worth a visit. Tall and imposing, wonderful crucifix, feeling of space to wander and quiet to sit and pray. Go and see!
The church is beautiful. It looks grand from outside but was somewhat smaller when we went inside. Not much detail inside but still a good one to visit and to walk around the town.
This cathedral is in the middle of Lucca. It's definitely worth a visit. It's just lovely and there are good places to eat around it.
