We went in December and were rewarded with warmth and blue skies. This made the Piazza look its best. Wonderful historical area for all abilities to enjoy.

We left Piazza dei Miracoli to the end of our Pisa sightseeing as a jewel, because we heard about this place from our friends. However reality actually still surprised us. It is unbelievably amazing place with beautiful cathedral and other architectural jewels around including tower. When you see these things only one question is coming up- how people could build... Would be brilliant if population of earth was at 1980 levels. Difficult to get a photo of anything at all without being jostled or having particularly asian tourists standing in front of your camera or poking you with a selfie stick. A shame as it is truly a spectacular site and obviously why the whole world wants to visit it:)

Nice place Worth a visit, definitely if combined with a visit to the tower, cathedral and bapthister. And why not, have a good meal nearby - Tuscany food and wine are great!

We didn't actually bother with the tower - the cathedral (Duomo), baptistry (Battistero) and cloisters with coffins (!) shown in the photo are amazing. PLUS we hit Pisa on one of the 3 weekends a year when the city walls are open - access from the Piazza and free. A real bonus.

The piazza contains a nice cathedral beside the tower. Pisa was a dream for me to see. The time I walked towards the piazza and see it my jaw dropped. There is also souvenir shops, coffee shops and small restaurants. Its worth to go and see this amazing historical place.

If you're in Pise you're there for the Leaning Tower, If you're at the leaning Tower you're in the Miracoli square. Charming place with wide green area.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this is THE Square to visit when in Pisa. It not only has a stunning cathedral, the Leaning Tower, but several other magnificent sights as well as expansive green lawns which can be enjoyed (prepare yourself though for the crowds!).

if you happen to be in Pisa it is a must to see this square. Expect crowds, but you definitely will enjoy this atractions. The leaning tower is amazing! - cost visit 18 euro. The cathedral is beautiful on the outside and free to visit inside. You are not aloud to walk on the grass :-).

We were traveling through Italy and took the detour into Pisa to show the town to an 11 year old. Both my husband and I have been here in the past but this piazza is still amazing to see no matter how many times you've been. Definite a must see.
