Everyone should visit this house on Via San Giovanni and see an interesting audio visual of the history of San Gimignano before going round the town. The house itself is also very interesting even though you can't go to the top of the tower.

A great visit based on a recommendation. Excellent history lesson of San Gimignano and a real insight into the Campitelli family.

One of the best tourist attractions in San Gimignano. A real house lived in until recently by real people - a true slice of life, along National Trust lines.

We visited on our last day and wish we had started here. A beautiful old house full of authentic decor and an excellent audio visual tour that gives you a great historical perspective.

As a non-Italian tourist the museum video gave so much information of the history of the region and town center, so that we could appreciate walking the town and farms lands even more. The view from the house was also gorgeous. You could really see...More

The excellent video is about 25 minutes. The tour (walking around on your own) is about 30 minutes. It depends on how interested you are in furniture, soft furnishings, wallpaper, etc. It could take longer if you are... More
