When visiting the Duomo, I would strongly recommend buying the full package as each separate part has a lot to offer. The crypt is full of interest in its own right, but also had an exhibition about the recent earthquake and its impact on various...More

This was interesting to me and a quick part of the Duomo tour. It is filled with a beautiful round stained glass window and many old sculptures. Not sure if anyone is still buried there but it had a lot of old frescoes and artifacts....More

This area can be visited as part of the cathedral tour. For those who are interested in very old sculpture, this is an interesting place to visit. The crypt area underneath the church is also very interesting and has several displays of artifacts as well...More

I expected a crypt but it's not. Well, it might have been but there's not burials visible now. There are some interesting frescoes on the walls and some other pieces. As we visited as part of the all inclusive ticket it was worth a look...More

The only cryptic thing about this place is that it is underground. There are no tombs in there, only artifacts found during some restauration that, in blunt honesty, lack complete interest to the visitor. Skip this.

Fairly boring. The crypt here was just filled with a few frescos and religious exhibits. Can be seen in 5-10 minutes!

After many visits to amazing buildings full of masterpieces, it was almost exhaustive to end the day here. The presentation is more lmodern and low-key and you give more time to study the gold mine of antique art.

The paintings in the crypt are damaged but are still very interesting to view. If you buy a opa pass then this is included and well worth a visit.

I'ts a really special feeling to walk around such an old crypt with all the almost ancient and beautiful painting on the wall - highly recommended, even without the guided tour!
