We stayed at Letizia's bed and breakfast, Alla Madonna del Piatto, last April, 2016! While visiting we attended one of her cooking classes. It was made even more fun when a group of American high school students joined us! I learned so much about olive oil, farro, and the Umbria style of cooking. Don't pass up this opportunity especially if... More

This is a very special cooking class. We went to Italy for 2 weeks in September and this was a major highlight of the trip. And what a unique souvenir we brought home: Italian cooking to share with family and friends. Letizia is warm, welcoming and ready to share her cooking skills. There were 6 of us taking the class.... If you are anywhere near Assisi, I highly recommend taking a day with Letizia. She is incredibly knowledgeable about Umbrian food and is an excellent teacher. Plus, you get to eat delicious food on a terrazzo with an incredible view. This class really changed my approach to Italian cooking.

This was my 2nd time coming to this area and also cooking with Letizia. She is an incredible cook and also very passionate about what she does. The classes are amazing and so much fun and informative. Her property is beautiful and the day goes by so quickly. You cook, learn, eat and drink. Would love to go again and... More

On an Easter break to Assisi, one of the best things we have done is joining Letizia for a cooking class. If you want to try/learn something new, get entertained, eat home food made with organic ingredients (all included), and nourish your eyes with picturesque views: this is the place to go, without hesitation. We booked via email. The response... More

In April my friends and I visited Italy for a long awaited trip. One of our group had contacted Letizia in advance to book our cooking class. It was early in the season and as it turned out we were the first group of the summer to visit. Letizia was a wonderful hostess and after a beautiful drive up the... More

We own a small vacation home in a town about an hour away from Letizia. Wanting to do something that was different, we made reservations for cooking school. It is well worth it. Letizia speaks very good English and is aware of our idiosyncrasies. Accepted as we were, we were led to her kitchen, offered a glass of wine, and... More

My wife & I just experienced one of our most memorable days here in Italy. Letizia's talent and incredible love for Italian cooking is phenomenal. My wife is Italian and we cook a lot of traditional dishes from southern Italy and Letizia introduced us to many new recipes and ideas. We can't wait to get back to California and start... More

It's not easy to find a talented chef who is also an excellent teacher but Letizia is such a person. Her class was informative and approachable for all skill levels. Her winsome personality is memorable. We had a cloudy day in Assisi but at Alla Madonna del Piatto the sun was shining! Highly recommend this to anyone.
