The park seems to have better reviews than diserves. We came up here to see unkept, forgotten park full of empty bottles and left chips bags. On top of that there are „art” pieces that reminds of dumped trash. Not worth the time.

There are plenty of things to see wandering through this park , mainly uphill . There are narrow passageways and remnants of historical buildings plus plenty of trees and plants and great views around Gubbio. There are benches to sit on & relax and a well .

Set on the slopes immediately behind Gubbios old town is the hilly Parco Ranghiasci. We entered the park from the loggia near the Ducal Palace. This was a rather over grown but verdant park that grew up the steep hillside. We followed the zigzagging path as it slowly wound its way down to town. We got a glimpse of the old town walls and a well. It was not quite how we pictured it but there were a few views to be had. Just above the town of Gubbio, a quiet oasis to stroll around. Plenty of trees for shade, and the occasional glimpse of a view across the town

WE wanted to find this park as it has a face Sculpture with it's mouth open on the wall in the park. We had to ask directions of people and show them a picture of the sculpture to actually get there. It has nice gravel walkways and benches to sit and contemplate.
