You have to hunt around here to find the hidden gems, shops selling leather, Bling, and other things that Ladies shop for, like shoes and chocolate and hand bags, some charming (and expensive) shops around here, but they can be tucked away, Hope this has been of some help for you...

Watching artist chisel they images from 300 Kg blocks of chocolate is a sight to behold. Several stands are in the central city with artists carving images from huge blocks of chocolate blocks is fascinating as you hope some of the larger chunks will fall your way as you stand by watching them work,.

The old town is situated on a hill that provides a view to Assisi 20 kilometers away and the entire valley surrounding the city. Gorgeous!

Perugia is beautiful. It's charm is sometimes lost to visitors to the area who focus on nearby Assisi. A pity because Perugia is well worth a visit. the old town is so elegant, largely pedestrianised and littered with pretty piazzas and streets. Great views of the valley too from the walls. They do walking tours there from the tourist office,... More

The historical center of Perugia is located at the top of the its hill. So if you arrive by train you will have to take a bus or the mini-metro up to the the top. Buses leave regularly from right outside the main train station and tickets can be purchased nearby or on board for a higher fee. The mini-metro... More

If you are in a centre of Perugia manage to visit Sala dei Notari cause inside there are beautiful frescoes of a XIV century. Cathedral is also worth visiting.

Give yourself plenty of time to see Perugia, so much to see dating back over 2,000 years! The Rocca Paolina, the Basilica and, well art, culture all the stuff you'd expect of a major Italian city. Plenty of great restaurants and cafes too!

Perugia is an awesome city to see historic buildings, artwork and more. Shopping and sightseeing a must! Also enjoyed the city of Assisi even more; the streets are easier to walk, very quaint and beautiful town; be sure to visit! We also went to the Durano ceramic shop and saw artisans create their one-of-a kind artwork, plates, vases... In addition... More

The centre of the city is really fantastic and well worth the visit. The church is beautiful inside and the surrounding medieval area is a photographers dream.
