This is the main piazza in Perugia. It is the spot to enjoy the old and the modern. There are many restaurants and wine bars where you can sip some wine and take in the magic of the city and watch the parade of passersby.

Take time out to survey the piazzas from this vantage point.We enjoyed a beautiful organic local Chardonnay and accompanying delicious snacks at Saccaria Caffe on two evenings. Or try the richest hot chocolate at the super friendly little side cafe.

Wonderful place in the center of Perugia, with view to the old center, the cathedral and the magnific sculpted fountain Maggiore, the Republic Palace; It's the historical center of Perugia, many visited by tourists; fantastic for make medieval photos.

I spent a large amount of time here whilst living for a semester in the city. During the day the Piazza has so much history whilst at night it becomes the place for all students to drink and spend time!

Impressive piazza with historic buildings, plenty of good restaurants and shops both on the piazza and also down the side streets. There are also bars and coffee shops where you can sit during the day or night and watch the locals "strut their stuff"

It is a good place to sit in the evening. Watching people come and go and read a book. We enjoyed the time there.

Piazza is really beautiful especially at night. And a good place to hang out at night. There is s lot of stairs where people sit and talk and enjoy.
