A stunning square. The fountain is an elaborate piece of art. The buildings around it are majestic. I have been here before and it is gorgeous in the snow or sunshine alike.

Such a magnificent central square, the real beating heart of the city. Always a great vibe, really busy and bustling by day and elegant and atmospheric by night. Ornate buildings on all sides give it such majesty, we just kept gravitating back to it. Lovely place to sit and relax in.

The Square is always popular among the locals and tourists. By if you are here during annual Umbria Jazz festival or some big event you'll find yourself in overcrowded place where people are having fun, singing, dancing. For ex, once there was a Pijama's party (to make a new Guiness record)- so all around were wearing night govns, nightdresses, slippers... More

Fantastic city centre surrounded by the church and old buildings. Unfortunately the fountain was under repair but nevertheless a wonderful place surrounded by medieval arches and houses in the little lanes.

We rented an apartment in Perugia just steps away from this beautiful piazza. Very active with good cafes and historic buildings surrounding the medieval fountain, which didn't look like much during the day, but was beautifully lit at night. Felt very safe here.

Beautiful area with museums around. Everything is close by and it is not difficult to walk. We saw a lot of museums near by.

If you go to the centro, the magnet of the Piazza IV Novembre will bring you home to its center. It is truly the meeting place, the center of worship, the heart of the history of Perugia and Umbria, the nerve center of the government. You cannot go to Perugia without spending some very enjoyable time in and around this... More
