We wandered Perugia and walked the many streets shopping, people watching and enjoying wine and appetizers. Corso Vannucci is a nice walk to experience the flavor and the atmosphere of the Umbrian city of Perugia especially at night

This is one of the many places in the Piazza Della Republica that specialises in pasta and pizza. We had a bottle of Montefalco Red that cost 19 euros and two Stagioni pizzas that cost a total of 15 euros. The waitress got a bit...More

This beautiful pedestrian street is one of our favourites in Italy. We never tire of rambling along it. And it is especially atmospheric during the excellent Umbria Jazz Festival.

It's a busy street going right thru the center of the old town. There are vendors' stalls (of a farmers' market) where you can buy some local food and crafts.

An average street. It is a Main Street in the old city of Perugia. The street has many old buildings, some cafes and pizzerias. It has many shops, too. But it has no life in it! There is nothing special about it.

Loads of character, upscale shops, quaint restaurants, vibrant, great place to spend an afternoon. Walk the full length of the road to avoid missing anything - there is a great galleria and park overlooking Perugia and the Umbrian countryside.

Well, around this street you will find ALL the action of Perugia. Bars, restaurants, shops, banks and hotels. Also cafeterias until late night.

Hi Cruz. The train station is very close to downtown. If you travel light you can even walk to the city centre. Also when you walk out of the train station a few meters to your right you can also find a Taxi stop. This... More
