Fantastic park to take the kids on a nice day. Mini train to ride on. Little cars. Tower to climb. Restaurant and now a Toboggan run. Try and avoid Sunday's as can get very busy.

There are new food stalls near the cablcar station. I tried the burger, it was huge and delicious! The price was fair for the amount and the quality. And the sun was shining!More

From centre of Bern get tram no 9 to Gurtenbahn, then if you don't fancy the walk take the funicular up to the top, as a tourist the public transport ticket from hotel meant there was no charge. Loads of green space, BBQ areas, lovely...More
