This magnificent sculpture is a monument to the founder of Bern - Berthold von Zahringer. The sculpture is of a bear in armor, carrying a shield and banner, showing the Zahringen lion! Be sure to notice all the detail when you take your pictures!

A view of this fountain and Zytlogge in the background is what I am left with after the visit to Bern. It really is a centerpiece of Old Town.
