We went on impulse with my husband to Thun and the center was lively filled with people having beer. The weather was still ok to sit outside.

The city is nice, you can see Thun castle almost everywhere in the city, but there is not much to do over there. Mainly shops and restaurants all around.

For history, buildings, amenities and atmosphere, calm and less hurried than most. Centre here the Bernese Oberland surrounds you and Berne itself is a hop and a step away!
