I am a BIG contemporay art fan and go to all the museums and exhibitions I can across the world. The art pieces at MAMCO were rubbish, the choice of artists very poor (arrogant collectives etc), the explanation close to non-existent. No scenography, no intelligence....More

Generally I like smart art, but this was very random, very strange and not very intelligent. Waste of time and money, really.

Not enough paintings and peculiar exhibitions. We only spent about 20 minutes viewing the 4 floors of exhibits. Some were most peculiar.

Free on the first Sunday of the month - It's not mind blowing, but a good destination on a rainy day

This museum is linked to the Photography Museum and shows cutting edge contemporary art. The space is vast and industrial looking. There's no coffee shop inside, but there are bistros on the same street nearby. Highly recommended.

To be honest I have to admit I'm not a big fan of art museums but I can definitely enjoy a good one when I see one. This one isn't. The exhibitions are usually pretty lame and in the end there isn't much to see.

We have absolutely enjoyed the modern art at the Tate in London. Well, this is NOT London! This is the most depressing art exhibit in the most depressing building with some of the most pompous staff I have ever encountered. Art can be dark, but...More
