Bains does Paquis is an outdoor public baths on a pier in Lake Geneva, with saunas and massages also available to the public. Along with a great eating and drinking deck, with indoor and outdoor seating, that serves amazing food at a good price! I had...More

Hands down one of the best things about Geneva is Bain des Paquis. The restaurant is a bit of an institution too, especially for fondue on cold winter nights. Theirs is a bit special, and apparently it's made slightly different to others, with sparkling wine...More

Located on a small rock in the middle of the lake this spot offers the best 360view of the City. It is special all year round. In winter it is one of the fondue spots in town and it has a sauna with a great...More

Bains des Paquis is an institution. Nominally a long pier enabling boating and swimming in the lake, the restaurant is duly loved for its fondue and easy atmosphere. During the superhot summer, it was jammed. Open late, it's a pleasant way to spend an evening...More

We strolled along the bains des paix by accident but were delighted we did. So many cool amenities - diving boards, rock climbing walls, swimming areas and gym equipment. What a lovely area to have in the city.

I love this Geneva landmark situated at the public lakeside swimming baths in the heart of Geneva. It is a favourite amongst Geneva locals and great if you are looking for a cheap and cheerful meal. This is a self-service place with a limited menu,...More

The place to be on weekend in Geneva to meet friends, have a beer or two. Near the lake with simply Maison food but quite good and very good price!

We visited Bains des Paquis having heard about how great it is and how we should not miss the fondue there. It is a big place, with no character that smells cheese (obviously) so strongly that our clothes got to stink. The location is beautiful...More

The cheese fondue in this place was recommended but turned out to be one of the most disappointing experiences.CHF 23 per portion (=4 bread dips with thin runny, flavourless cheese and charred bread! ) They claim to add sparkling wine to the fondue to make...More

Besides swimming in the lake, the town spa also offers a sauna or massages. On the water you can lie on the ground or on the wooden grates. There is a toilet and a hairdresser. The water inlet slowly on the sand or on the...More

Sorry Dawn I saw your question only minutes ago. Did you have a good stay. You couldn't swim the lake in December but I hope you had a good stay

For the "beach", it's Fr.2 per adult, for the hammam/sauna, it's Fr.10 per adult. There is no entrance fee for the restaurant (self service).

Take bus number 6, 8, 9 or 25 to stop 'Mont-Blanc'. Walk east along the lake. After about 500 meters you will see the jetty on which 'les Bains des Paquis' are located.
