It’s a marvelous kirche and you want to be sure to pop inside for a look and some quiet time. No doubt a tourist group will also come in while you are there, but they do not stay long and it will quiet down once...More

This church is best seen when the visitor has plenty of time to linger and to explore all the chapels and niches. Its history as a pilgrim church is shown by the existence of half-shells above entrance doors.

Although not on the grand scale of some of Europe’s cathedrals, this church more than makes up for that with its rich embellishments and it’s baroque decor. I loved our visit to this historic church.

My wife and I wandered in for a quick look and stayed probably 30 minutes or more. Recommended if you are into baroque architecture.

Upon opening the huge, plain old worn timber doors, a beautiful ornate church awaited adoration. This was a surprise find but a welcomed one.

While talking a walking tour we stopped at the onion dome. It was not impressive looking from the outside but was very beautiful inside.
