As I stumbled upon the green doors, I knew this was the church I have read about for years. This is Catholic church is quite rare because it uses airy coloring. The interior walls are painted in white and pink colors and there are beautiful...More

A very short walk from the bahnhof, the church is located on the water by the Kappelbrucke. You'd be remiss to overlook this beautiful and ornate church. Check schedule if you're interested in attending service.
This church is a quick few steps from the chapel bridge and worth the stroll. It has a gorgeous interior. Admittedly, I snuck in during a service, but it was worth it!
This is fairly understated for a baroque church. There are some well-done faux marble effects. From the view of the organ, it would be an excellent place for a concert. During the day, you can enjoy fairly quite contemplation.
If travelling, stop in for a visit and light a candle of thanks for a safe journey. Works for me. Lovely spot in which to escape the hustle and bustle of a hot business day.
