I was completely unprepared for the sheer opulence of this church's interior. I have visited many beautiful churches and cathedrals in Europe and elsewhere, but the Jesuitenkirche in Lucerne is on a level all its own. Extraordinary! Where many churches are somber and dark or...More

Jesuitekirche is a beautiful Jesuit church. We were on a group tour and were only allowed to step inside the church due to time constraints. I would love to go back and tour it.

An amazing example of baroque architecture, with white marble (hope I'm right!) structure. The church interiors are absolutely beautiful in every area and in every respect. When I visited there was a nativity scene in one corner, very well set up too. Beautiful and worth...More

This church is in the center of town and very convenient to stop in for 10 min. It's beautiful and definitely worth the visit.

The stern exterior belies what magnificence is inside. This church is a feast for the eyes- every centimetre is an artwork! One of the most beautiful churches in the world!

We peeked in the door as service was about to start. Nice and bright - refreshing after seeing all the old dark Catholic churches in Poland in our previous travel. Surprised to find this in reformed Switzerland.
