It's a pretty high falls. The view from the Lake Brienz cruises are very nice. You can get down at Geissbach and take the steep funicular ride to the top. There's a hiking path too to go even closer to the falls. It's amazing.

We got the boat to Giessbach and took a hike up the waterfall. You can get their by road which gives you a little more flexibility. The hotel there is stunning, there is also a little place to get a coffee or a drink. The waterfall itself is beautiful overlooking the glacial lake.

This is a nice excursion, with easy access to the waterfall via well-marked paths. Even the view of the historic hotel itself on the backdrop of the lake is worth the visit.

You take a lift through the mountain to the top of the falls, walking a little up stairs to view the thundering water which runs of the magnificent Mountains. I am sorry I did not note down the volume of water thundering down to earth, but it quite takes your breath away. there are naturally carved tunnels forced through the... More

Arrive by boat, take the historic funicular and walk a little further (pretty smooth gentle-ish path or harder steps) the falls are amazing but if you walk a bit further you can walk behind the falls too.

This is one of the best attractions that you can see when you visit Interlaken Area. You can go there via car/ van/ motorcycle/ cycle but not big bus. I went with a group using big bus (50 pax.) and we had to stop our bus away from the waterfall and continue 300 m walking to reach the water fall.... More

Take a ferry from Interlaken ost to Geissbach the only way to reach there if you are traveling through Swiss Rail Pass. To reach waterfall either you can track or take one side to cog wheel train it will cost you 5 CZK and climbing down is easy while tracking up .It is just 5 mins’ journey to reach Hotel... More

We love caves and waterfalls. This is the country for both. We came across this by chance and so glad we saw it before the Reichenbach Falls. These falls just go on and on. It is beautiful, wild, loud and terraced. You must be prepared for a walk up rough paths but it is so worth it. Each terraced level... More
