I was looking for a last minute birthday present and had not been in here for ages so went to see what I could find. What a selection! Quaint shop with lovely little treasures. I ended up buying more for myself than the original present. A refreshing place now that interlaken is nearly all about expensive watch shops for Asian... More

Cute little store, right next to a chocolate shop. I had heard that it was a great place to visit (and get crafty) while in Interlaken, and great it was! I had bought a couple charms while in Dublin that I brought in, and after an hour or so I had two lovely beaded necklaces :D Wonderful way to add... More

Charming, warm, and inviting, the Mad Cow is the perfect place not only for finding souvenirs, but also for creating. I visited with two of my friends, and we had a lovely afternoon of shopping and jewelry-making. What's really great about this shop is that it caters to multiple ages and interests. It can be an individual experience or a... More

This little gift shop in the heart of Interlaken was a fabulous find. Whether you're looking for a gift or some Swiss memorabilia to take home from your travels, this cool shop has it all. They also have beading workshops for the kids so on a rainy day if it's too cloudy to head up into the mountains, the kids... More

Saw this on TA and Karen was getting desperate for some gifts so we tracked it down. Very lovely and helpful owner with some interesting clothes, accessories, etc. Filled the bill for what we needed and well worth a visit if you are shopping.

The window was so eye catchy and creative so I had to walk in. I felt like there is a story behind every piece of furniture or product inside this shop. I bought nice little watch (I am not into expensive Swiss watch - I prefer the creative ones) and a small hand-made earrings. The owner, Australian lady (Is she... More

I just happened into this darling shop while strolling through Interlaken and could not have been more excited with my find. Such wonderful one of a kind items and absolute kindness of the shop owner, Kim. I managed to find great gifts to bring home to the family, and when I realized I had forgotten something, she even sent it... More

I was gifted a voucher to attend an Annie Sloan Chalk Paint workshop at the Mad Cow. Not knowing what to expect i arrived with a small piece of furniture excited to learn all the techniques to help transform my night stand from shabby to chic. Along with 3 others, (2 of which drove 2hrs all the way from Zurich... More

The mad cow has lots of interesting, good quality products for tourist and locals alike. You can tell the shop owner Kim White, really puts the effort into stocking the shop with gifts and goodies of pizazz and personality! I also love that it's a small local business. Kim is always friendly and loves to chat with customers. She can... More
