I found it very average but my three fellow travelers (who were not Sherlock fans) were in there for ages.

Lovers of the stories of Sherlock holmes will remember how he was supposed to have died whilst chasing his arch-fiend Moriarty, when both plunged into the Reichenbach Waterfall, quite close to Meiringen. A little old Anglican church has been taken over by the Sherlock Holmes Society and the basement turned into a museum. Many pieces of memorabilia are on display... More

The small museum packs in a solid amount of Sherlock Holmes related paraphernalia and information. Visitors receive headsets that provide a guided tour and are available in many languages.

A great step back in time to a house recreated for the late 19th century when this fictional character 'lived' in Baker Street London. Even for Brits it is worth seeing, but for those who are not used to British houses of that era, it is well worth a look at - if you are into Sherlock Holmes or just... More

I enjoyed my visit to this museum. Entry is cheap at $4CHF per person. They only accept cash so be sure you have it! The museum is small containing many pieces from the Holmes period. I paired my visit with a trolley ride up Reichenbach Falls with a final hike to the top and walk down the other side. The... More

WE had free tickets, so decided to kill an hour to have a look. Well, we very surprised how great this little museum is. The detail and work that has gone into this building was unbelievable. I learnt more about Conan Doyle and |Holmes in this one hour than I have reading or looking on the internet. The town, naturally,... More

It's not a bad 10 minute stop in a rainy day but I wouldn't waste a second time in it... A bit of historically flavored and loaned from other museums Sherlock Holmes walk

Even if you aren't a fan it is great. Well designed and thought out for being small. We got joint tickets for the falls that makes a great outing. I left and read the return of Sherlock Holmes. Many different languages available same cost.

If you are a Sherlock Holmes fan you should not miss this tiny museum. The mock up of the drawing room at 221B Baker Street is outstanding as is some ot the Conan Doyle memorabilia
