Segantini's great work was produced during his expressionist period. None of these works are in the Segantini Museum. The museum has only a small collections of his early landscapes which he could not sell or did not wish to sell.

A tiny museum with just a few paintings made by Segantini . a big portion of the building is allocated to cashier / selling copies etc. The price is really very high I do not recommend visiting this museum !!

Nothing to complain about the paintings in the collection - in particular about the three big ones done for the Swiss Pavillion at the Expo 1900 (and then hosted in the Italian Pavillion). Paintings are really impressive! But I think that credit cards should be...More

A bijou museum dedicated to the painter Segantini. There's only a few dozen paintings on view, but it's a well-curated selection. The only down-side is that they're not super kid-friendly. You can't bring a pram into the galleries which means I had to lug my...More

This collection isn't large but it is for sure worth the 10 minute walk from town . This small collection of impressionist art was absolutely spectacular . Frankly it was a nice break from being in town .

Segantini Museum resides in a medieval tower and it's out of the way from other attractions but still it's an interesting place to visit if you're into classical art. The museum is quite small with its highlight being a huge Life, Nature and Death triptych....More
