The Berry Museum, housed in the century-old Villa Arona in the heart of St. Moritz, is dedicated to the doctor and painter Peter Robert Berry II (1864 – 1942). In the course of forty years, hundreds of compositions are created in charcoal, pastel and oil, from miniatures to impressive winter panoramas. The complete oeuvre, including music, poems and philosophical essays is preserved at the Berry Museum. High-resolution digital imaging allows for phenomenal perspectives.

We were welcomed by the grandson of the painter who then gave us a brief to tour of the museum. We loved the art and look forward to another.

Very well done small museum. In the center of St Moritz, it is a great way to spend an hour ... seeing some wonderful paintings that fit so well into the Engadine Valley and getting a flavour of how things were back then.
