This jewel-box of a church is well worth a visit. The frescoes are amazing and in an incredible state of restoration (it's Switzerland, after all). Go around the side to the remains of the cloister that has been incorporated into a building that fronts on...More

Located very near the Lac art center and across from Lake Lugano. Old frescoes are worth seeing. Wonderful!

An amazing fresco covers the interior. Choose times carefully as visitors not too welcome (obviously) when there is a service on. Absolutely breathtaking inside though and well worth a peek inside.

The church hosts an early Renaissance masterpiece, reputed as being the most famous fresco of that period in Switzerland. It was built between 1499 and 1500. Beautiful!

This little church is always a cool place to stop by while strolling in the centre of Lugano. It is next to the Lac and what used to be one of the grandest hotels in Lugano. The frescoes are definitely worth a visit!

Right on the water front and the minute you step in it’s cool and quiet. A huge painting is up towards the front. Great place to cool down but also enjoy a great piece art above your head.

Attractive church with faded frescos. A pleasant place but not worth a detour. It makes a good contrast to the consumerism of the nearby luxury shops.
