We boarded Glacier Express from St Moritz at 9:15am and arrived at Zermatt at 5:10pm. The entire journey was stunning and scenery is breathtaking. Trained stopped at Oberalppass, 2033m height for photography. Service, staff, commentary, and food was excellent. The trip cost is covered in...More

Comfortable train with excellent lunch service. Amazing views, quiet, friendly staff. Meals served on the train are abundant and so good! Panoramic coaches. A must-do if you have time.

From St Moritz, this was a beautiful trip until we arrived in Chur. Shortly after leaving Chur, we began going backwards and were told we “couldn’t go on,” and we’d have to make our own way to Zermatt. Eventually back at Chur, they explained there...More

Beautiful, Swiss cliché, good food but sooo expensive!! Go to the SBB website and buy a daily card (106.- if bought 0-30 days before the date) and then book your glacier express trip for 23.- You are welcome ;)

Having travelled the route in summer, our ambition was a winter trip. Originally booked for January but weather created problems, so put back (without any problem) to March. Spectacular journey from St Moritz to Zermatt. Quiet day (Monday) so could enjoy scenery/food and information, not...More
