We took this boat from Lausanne to Montreux. Very smooth and comfortable trip with great views of the shorelines. It is also free with the Swiss rail pass.

A really beautiful old paddle steamer, very comfortable, very stylish, intriguing to see the pistons and paddles all working and shiny clean!. Expensive but I guess upkeep is expensive too. My favourite boat of the holiday!

Okay, we had 1st Class Swiss Passes, so we sat on the top deck, which is truly the way to travel on this boat! A day full of sunshine truly made our two-hour journey an amazing experience.
