The exhibition about grains was interesting, but the garden in itself is messy and not very well maintained. Many plants were burnt and dry. The fact that the gardens are on a sharp slope, with narrow alleys, doesn't help feeling good.

Found the botannical gardens and enjoyed a through walk - charmed by the ascending pathways full of flora and fauna and then at the top, amazing views of Lausanne and Lac Leman... loved the freshness and beauty of it all!

If you go from port to center or vice versa it is the perfect stop on the way. Many interesting plants, scents of spring and summer. A nice observation deck leading to winding paths among large and old trees.

We past by the botanic garden for a walk in a sunny day. Compare with the near Milan park, the Jardin looks not well maintained! Plants and trees are left alone! Except the walk and the nice view at the top, nothing else is worth...More

Very nice place - garden/ park for walk with no tax for enter. Near the center of city. I recommend it

Walking in the Botanic Gardens in Lausanne is an instant cure for stress. Lots of winding paths with views of the the lake around the corner and the sound of children laughing and playing come to you in waves that lift your mood.

Although walking to the top of the little hill offers a great view on the lake, the botanical garden is not exceptional.

Walked there in the evening but it was already closed, so not much comment in here except it is quite an interesting place... judging from the view from outside the place.

In the hart of the city, this place offers a way to escape in nature, with very interesting species and nice views over the lake
