The Fraumunster is a beautiful small church along the Limmat River. The spire with its mock gabled roof surrounding the clock is a landmark of the city. We ate dinner at a restaurant across the river and enjoyed looking at the illuminated church and listening to the bells. Inside are the magnificent Augusto Giacometti and Marc Chagall stained glass windows.... More

Fraumunster has a great history, a cripta with fantastic historic documents and ruins and some remains from the catholic era. But... I don't see the point in charging people to visit it, as there's not a lot to see. Living in Geneva where every public attraction is available for free, that fee was off... Everyone takes a audio guide compulsorily,... More

Nice place to visit. Quite quiet, so a nice good place to sit down and reflect. And think about the worldly things you want to explore at night.

Very beautiful Church at the nice location, we didn't get to go inside as it was closed while we were around, looks beautiful from outside as well.

The church is gorgeous: it has gothic and romanesque parts and the highlight are the beautiful windows by Chagall.

Europe has numerous historic churches. If you enjoy seeing them, this should be one of them. Great views in a walk friendly area.

We took a guide and embarked on a visit of the Reformation churches. Just walk along the Limmat river, you can spot churches by their high towers. Went in , had a look at the statue of abbess Katharina von Zimmern, the organ, the stained glass windows. Peaceful, calm , serene. Very different from churches we visited in EU countries.

Beautiful church . One of the main four churches of Zurich . It is a must see because if the beautiful 5 large stained glass windows designed by artist Mark Chagall and installed in 1970 . It also has a 9 meter stained glass work of Augusto Giacometti .
