Its newly renovated glass houses are definitely worth seeing, and also the rest of the place is pretty cool. Especially when considering that it has free entrance :)

Really enjoyed these gardens. Same exhibit would have cost at least £15 a head int he UK but in Zurich it's free. Only downside is the cafe only accepts cash or contactless. So if you have a UK bank card and no cash, you're going...More

This is a nice free attraction but definitely not a must see or do while in Zurich. There is a peaceful pond you can sit next to or pack a lunch near the pond. There are three buildings full of greenhouse plants to explore along...More

Over different levels do you find interesting plants and trees, with a small green house. Lovely to walk around, with one of the cities rivers next to it. There is a lot of seating all over the garden - especially when it's sunny, it's peaceful...More

I visited in February so will acknowledge that the garden would not have been at its best. The garden is large enough for a morning or afternoon visit but will not occupy the whole day. The highlights must include the greenhouses which, being covered, make...More

Literally, this is an urban oasis. Smacked in the middle of Zürich, you find the serenity of expansive gardens, housing plants from throughout the world. If your day is getting busier than you like, make an escape to the botanical garden and recharge.

Somewhat tired & run down displays. Nice for a stroll - but I think after all the spectacular views we enjoyed while travelling through Switzerland we were left somewhat disappointed with our experience with botanic gardens.
