The walk around the lake was amazing and beautiful. We did not take the ferry as the ticket office was closed and not quite sure of the times, but definitely worth the walk to see it.

We only walked around the Lake Zurich. You can do that for hours. It was very pleasant. The only downside it that it is difficult to find toilets alongside the banks.

Enjoyed the perfect views. Busy trip, too cold for most people to enjoy the views. You can buy tickets on board the boat as the ticket machines are not very clear in explaining what type of ticket is required. Drinks and food are available.

A cruise over Lake Zurich was one of the pleasant activity we did to feel the air of being in Zurich. A must activity for family and teen group travelers. Enjoy the moment of being in Zurich.

Visited the lake and walked along the pier. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed every bit of it. Also saw the clock tower with the widest face (9 meters)

I do agree with the answer of the other contributor, actually on the lake there are rather villages than towns, and if you have limited time then better to have a look from the boat and spend more time to visit the old town... More
